The Nitecore NU43 is a new model from the NU series. The NU43 is powered by a built-in 18650 battery with a capacity of 3400mAh.
Improved charging electronics allow the battery to be fully charged in just 2 hours via the USB-C charging port. Furthermore, the Nitecore NU43 can be used while charging. There will soon be a suitable accessory for this that can be attached to the headband.
The case is made of metal and polycarbonate. This mixture results in the low weight - the NU43 is currently the lightest headlamp with a 18650 battery.
The 32 mm wide headband ensures a comfortable fit and optimal weight distribution. The built-in optical sensor suddenly reduces the brightness as soon as it registers an obstacle in front of it. This rules out overheating caused by unintentional switching on.
